What We've Discovered Along the Way: 10 Years of Intentional Technology Exploration
This presentation will cover the various investigations and discoveries that LMN has made over the past 10 years as it has continued to assess the evolving role of technology within its design process. Topics will include how and why LMNts was established and their role within LMN, how new technologies have streamlined LMN's design process, and new project opportunities that have arisen from these developments.
Learning Objectives Include:
Participants will be able to compare their current approach to technology adoption to a firm who is intentionally focusing resources on exploring these new potentials.
Participants will be able to identify opportunities within their own practice for engaging the use of emerging technologies.
Participants will be able to examine new roles for the architect in the building process made possible by new technologies.
Participants will be able to recognize the expanding role that computation has to play within design thinking without believing that computers supply DO IT FOR ME buttons.
